Area golfers are encouraged to enjoy a fun day on the links while, at the same time, supporting a worthy cause as the Sparkman Middle School Cheerleading Squad will host a golf tournament on Saturday, August 5.

The tournament will be held at Fox Run Golf Course in Meridianville, Alabama with a shotgun start at 8 AM.

The tourney will consist of a four-man scramble and there will be cash prizes for first and second place in each of two flights. There will also be prizes for “closest to the pin” and “longest drive.” Door prizes will be available.

Cost of the tournament is $50 per person or $200 per team.
