William Maple (Mape) Hogan William Maple (Mape) Hogan, 97, of Stateline Road, Ardmore, AL, died Wednesday, July 26, 2006, at Huntsville Hospital, Huntsville, AL. Funeral services were held Friday, July 28, at 11 a.m. at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jeff Drake and Bro. Sammy Brister officiating. Burial was in the Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore with Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home in charge. William Maple Hogan was born May 1, 1909 in Giles County, TN, to Wiley D. and Maggie Mitchell Hogan. He was a farmer and cabinet builder. He was a lifelong resident of the Ardmore area and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Survivors include sons, Billy (Betty) Hogan of Ashland City, TN, Jimmie Hogan of Ardmore, AL, Kenneth (Ruth) Hogan of Ardmore, AL, Tony (Wanda) Hogan of Athens, AL; daughters, Doris (Ed) Campbell of Pulaski, TN, Judy (Larry) Stafford of Taft, TN, Patsy (Hugh) Griffin of Prospect, TN; sister-in-law, Christine Hogan of Ardmore, AL; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Grandsons served as pallbearers. Granddaughters were honorary pallbearers. George Leon Watson George Leon Watson, 90, of Prospect Road, Prospect, TN, died Friday, July 28, 2006, at Meadowbrook Nursing Home, Pulaski, TN. Funeral services were held Monday, July 31, at 1 p.m. at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ron Stone officiating. Burial was in the Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore with Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home in charge. George Leon Watson was born May 26, 1916 in Elkton, TN, to George Foster Watson and Annie Teters Watson. He was a farmer and a member of the First Assembly of God in Pulaski. Survivors include daughters, Alice Pearl Holt, Doris Lee Colletti and Linda Sue Kozlik, all of Chicago, IL; brother, John B. Watson of Ardmore, AL; sister, Myrtle Goodman of Ardmore, AL; special niece and nephew, Virginia Winburn and Wayne Costley both of Prospect, TN; many other nieces and nephews; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Dorothy Jean Wilson Dorothy Jean Wilson, 70, of Blackwell, OK, died Monday, July 31, 2006, in the Blackwell Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 3, at 10:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Blackwell, OK, with Rev. Matt Smith of Immanuel Baptist Church and Ryan Eakins, grandson, officiating. Burial will be Saturday, August 5, at 11 a.m. in the Fairmont Cemetery in Follett, TX. Roberts and Son Funeral Home of Blackwell, OK, is in charge of arrangements. Dorothy Jean Wilson was born on June 28, 1936 in La Tour, MO, to Marvin Merle and Eula Maribeth (Donald) Myers. Survivors include her husband, Bill D. Wilson of Blackwell, OK; daughters, Terri Tiemann and husband Chuck of Ardmore, AL, Sherri Eakins and husband Richard of Blackwell, OK, Kay Cartwright and husband Greg of Cherryville, KS, Lea Ann Cooper and husband Randy of Enid, OK, Connie Ewy and husband Jeff of Louisburg, KS; brothers, Theron Myers of Arkansas City, KS, Donald Myers of Saginaw, TX, and J.R. Hibbs of Wagoner, OK; sisters, Shirley Hefner of Arkansas City, KS, Leota Pritchard of Wagoner, OK, Deloris Cleary of Broken Arrow, OK, and Doris Haskins of Bloom, KS; grandchildren, Ryan Eakins and wife Jimae, Tera Sneath and husband Gavin, Todd Cartwright and wife Tracy, Chad Cooper and wife Andrea, Randa Real and husband Alex, Kendell Tiemann and wife Holly, Robert Cartwright, Bradey Ewy and wife Megan, Kristin Tiemann and fiancé Steve Andrews, Eric Cooper and wife Dixie, Kimberly Andrews and husband Chris, Billy Ewy and Tyler Ewy; great-grandchildren, Alexis Cooper, Cade Cooper, Conner Sneath, Judson Eakins, Makenna Cartwright, Gaberilla Real and Erickson Cooper.
