Classic car aficionados are in for a special treat as the Ardmore Quarterback Club will present the 6th Annual Car, Truck and Bike Show at John Barnes Park on Saturday, August 12. Hours of the event will be from 10 AM until 3 PM.

Last year’s event had over 220 entries and had a little something for everyone. There will be plenty of shade trees for those attending.

Organizers of the 2006 show expect things to be even better this year. Swap meet vendors and food vendors will be on hand, as well as a live disc jockey playing the best of the oldies. Thousands of dollars in door prizes will also be given away.

In keeping with tradition, the show will have its “Top 25” awards and the Coach’s Choice Award. In addition, the grand prize will feature a “Winner’s Choice” of either a 350 Chevy crate motor or a 302 Ford crate motor.

Pre-entry fees are $15 and $20 the day of the show. Pre-entries will receive two tickets for the crate motor drawing.
