The last time MTSU played a nationally televised game was in 1989 against Georgia Southern on ESPN. "This is going to be a special night and I hope all Blue Raider fans and football fans will come out to LP Field and watch a great college football game," said Director of Athletics Chris Massaro. "We are delighted to have the opportunity to showcase our program and university to a nationwide audience on ESPN2. Our fans have always responded well to games in Nashville and now they can see us play in an NFL stadium where tickets start at only $10. This will be the first nationally-televised home game in the history of our program which will give our fans the opportunity to show the nation the type of support and fan following we have at Middle Tennessee. It should be an exciting game against one of the top-rated teams in the country." |
