by Alderwoman Laurene Schrimsher Hello! It’s me again! I have really enjoyed hearing from so many of you. The nice, encouraging things you’ve said have warmed this old heart. You know, there are lots of nice people living in Ardmore. Ardmore folks come from hard workers. God-fearing folks who came up hard, worked in the fields as children, didn’t expect anything fancy in life: work, got to church, get married, raise the children and hope to live to see the grandchildren grow up. Along the way, with their work and good luck, they might be able to pay for a little house all their own. They didn’t look for an easy way to go, they didn’t expect anything to be given to them, they treated other people fairly and expected to be treated the same in return. These were our parents and grandparents. Don’t we want to continue this way of life for our children and grandchildren? Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! (Psalms: 133:1 KJV) Thanks for the calls, good and bad. Here’s looking at ya, Laurene Schrimsher
