The annual Locker Reunion was held Saturday, August 5, 2006, at Trotter’s Restaurant in Fayetteville, TN.

Those present were: Ken and Sandra Hereford of Chattanooga; Bruce and Deana Nelson and daughters Kristina and Katie of Ringgold, GA; Billy and Brenda Cole of Murfreesboro; Willadean Hopkins of Huntsville; Kenneth Shields of Madison, AL; Pamela Shields Carter of Hazel Green; Jeremy and Lesley Roberts and Lex of Knoxville; Kathleen Smith of Huntsville; Jennifer Norman of Murfreesboro; Fred and Kay Wyatt of Brentwood; Joe and Billie Jo Sloan of Huntsville; Vernon and Belinda Ivy of Brownsboro, AL; Shelley Hildebrand, Mallory Grace and Josh of Lapine, AL.

Local attendees were Bob Allen Gray, Pat Hereford Webb, Ruth Douglas, Lucile Ingle, Ernestine Wilson, Knox Wayne Smith, Stuart Towry, Kim Jackson and Justin White.

Bob Allen Gray’s line in the Locker genealogy was through Fenton Locker who married Mary Ellen Denton. Fenton Locker helped to start the Rowland Hill Church of Christ along with A.T. Stewart, Charlie Koonce, Virgil Haney, Roy and Frank Jones, Will Carter, Billy Jones (the song leader) and John Henderson.

Virgil Haney taught school at Rowland Hill School. So did Allen and Vernon Rozar.
