Ardmore Chamber Plans 14th Annual Crape Myrtle Festival Saturday
include furniture carved by a chain saw, jewelry made from rocks, purses, portrait sketching and many other craft items. Traditional festival foods will be available including funnel cakes, shaved ice, blooming onions, bar-b-que ribs, sweets, and much more. There will also be Bingo for adults The Children’s Area will have lots of fun things for children of all ages including a 45’ long slide, bouncing rides and more. Ticket sales for this area will all be donated to the Ardmore Boys & Girls Club. Bring your lawn chair, sunscreen and shade and prepare to stay for all types of music including gospel, bluegrass and country. Saturday’s entertainment will begin at 9:00 a.m. with Family of Praise. Cash Point Olde Time Music will begin at 10:00 a.m. with bluegrass pickin’ and grinnin’. Compassion will sing at 11:00 a.m. followed by Jeff Whitlow at 12:00. Cheryl Llewellyn will be singing at 1:00 p.m. The band, 65 South, will entertain the crowd beginning at 2:00 p.m. Admission is $1.00.
