Ardmore Chamber Plans 14th Annual Crape Myrtle Festival Saturday

The 14th Annual Crape Myrtle Festival will be held Saturday, August 26, at the John Barnes Park in Ardmore, Tennessee located on Ardmore Ridge Road. To kick-off this year’s festival, The Valley Echoes and The Servants will be singing Friday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. while vendors and chamber members are preparing for Saturday’s events.

The Festival will begin at 8:00 a.m. and continue until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. More than 35 vendors will be offering a variety of craft items and delicious festival foods. Some of the items that will be available

The Children’s Area will have lots of fun things for children of all ages including a 45’ long slide, bouncing rides and more. Ticket sales for this area will all be donated to the Ardmore Boys & Girls Club.

Bring your lawn chair, sunscreen and shade and prepare to stay for all types of music including gospel, bluegrass and country. Saturday’s entertainment will begin at 9:00 a.m. with Family of Praise. Cash Point Olde Time Music will begin at 10:00 a.m. with bluegrass pickin’ and grinnin’. Compassion will sing at 11:00 a.m. followed by Jeff Whitlow at 12:00. Cheryl Llewellyn will be singing at 1:00 p.m. The band, 65 South, will entertain the crowd beginning at 2:00 p.m.
