Lois Guthrie Johns

Lois Guthrie Johns, 77, of Pulaski, TN, died Monday, August 14, 2006, at NHC of Pulaski.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 16, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home. Burial was in the Giles Memory Gardens in Pulaski. Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Lois Guthrie Johns was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac and Mary Furline Guthrie; her husband, Dorsey Johns, Jr.; sisters, Lola Mae Adams, Maggie Lou Diebert, Betty Marie Dawes; brothers, Jesse Guthrie and Jim Isaac Guthrie.

Survivors include sons, William Dorsey Johns III, Derris Wayne Johns and wife Vickie, Samuel Dale Johns and wife Michelle all of Pulaski; daughter, Jane Currin and husband Mike of Pulaski; sisters, Lucille Coffman of Pulaski and Mary Ruth Sula of Ohio; brothers, Leo Guthrie of Pulaski, Gray Guthrie of Columbia, David Guthrie of Garwood, TX, Bobby Guthrie and Herman Guthrie both of Ohio; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Claud Harwood Green

Claud Harwood Green, 88, of Pulaski, TN, died Monday, August 21, 2006, at his residence.

Graveside funeral services will be Wednesday, August 23, at 11 a.m. in Mt. Moriah Cemetery with rev. Steve Nave officiating.

Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Claud Harwood Green was a U.S. Army veteran and served in WWII. He retired from Maremont Gabriel and was a farmer. Mr. Green was preceded in death by his parents, Cluad and Clara Locke Green; his wife, Modena Braly Green; and a brother, James Green.

Survivors include a son, David Green of Pulaski; grandsons, John and Robert Green of Pulaski.

Memorial donations may be made to the Mt. Moriah Cemetery Fund.
