The Dollar General Store, located at the corner of Union Hill Road and Main Street in Ardmore, will hold a ½ Price Tent Sale all day Saturday, September 2. There will be specials inside and outside during this special event, according to store Manager Vicky Taylor.

A variety of toys will be ½ price Saturday only. Quantities will be limited on some items. Customers are encouraged to shop early for Christmas. During this special sale, everyone is asked to remember the Civitan Toy Chest.

“This is a great time to shop for your family and for those less fortunate,” said Taylor. “We will have lots of items at special prices on Saturday. We hope our customers will take advantage of this special shopping day,” added Taylor.

To add to the fun on Saturday, an air ball machine will be available for kids. A dunking booth will also be set up with action beginning at 10 a.m. Participants in the dunking booth will include some Ardmore police officers and other local personalities. There will also be a drawing for a gas grill. Proceeds from the dunking booth and the grill drawing will go to the Literacy Foundation.

Free hot dogs and Pepsi will be served. The Dollar General Store is located at 25991 Main Street in Ardmore.
