Cedar Hill PTO Plans Fair This Weekend
The second annual Cedar Hill Elementary PTO Fair will kick off Thursday, September 14, and continue through September 16. Sponsored by Cedar Hill PTO, the fair will be open from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. Thursday and Friday and from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Saturday. The fair will be set up on Ardmore Avenue on the lot in front of First Baptist Church.


NEACA Craft Show Set Friday, Saturday, Sunday
The Northeast Alabama Craftsmen’s Association (NEACA) Annual Fall Craft Show will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday, September 15, 16 and 17. The popular craft show will be held in the Von Braun Center South Hall located at 700 Monroe Street in Huntsville, AL.


“Storytime For Preschoolers” Set
Wednesdays At Ardmore Public Library

Preschool age children are invited to attend Storytime for Preschoolers on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. at the Ardmore Public Library. The Storytime program introduces preschoolers to the library and helps to encourage reading.


Pre-K Classes Are Now In Progress At Blanche
Classes are well underway in the Pre-Kindergarten program at Blanche School. The program has begun its first year and includes 20 students who are five years old.


Masonic Lodge Coat Drive Now In Progress
The Ardmore Masonic Lodge is holding their annual coat drive through September. Coats and jackets are being collected for those less fortunate.


Revival Starts Sunday
Everyone is invited to attend Revival services September 17 through September 20 at the Kelly’s Creek Baptist Church. Services will begin at 7:00 nightly.


Lady Tigers Fall To ABS
The Athens Bible School Lady Trojans have been a stumbling block for the Ardmore Lady Tiger varsity volleyball team all season. The Lady Tigers dropped two matches to ABS in a three-day span last week.


Diamond Club Meeting Slated For September 17
Area residents are advised that the first meeting of the Ardmore Diamond Club for the 2007 season is scheduled for Sunday, September 17 at 3 PM. The meeting will be held in the Ardmore High School cafeteria.


Tigers Score Impressive Road Win Over ELHS
Ardmore High School’s Varsity Football Team, fresh off an opening-week win over Elkmont, took to the road last Friday night to see if its winning ways would continue. The Tigers and their followers were not disappointed.


Blanche Bulldogs Defeat Eagles 8-6
The Blanche Bulldogs grounded the South Lincoln Eagles 8-6 at Jim Cooper Field in Blanche Thursday, September 7.


Warriors Too Much For Falcons
A tenacious Riverdale Warrior defense made life difficult Friday night for the Lincoln County Falcons as they headed back to Murfreesboro with a 39-7 win.


Goal Line Stand Gives Red Devils Win
The Elkmont Red Devil defense used a goal line stand to hold off a Clements Colts come-from-behind bid at the 1-yard line for a 27-21 win.
