The Friends of the Ardmore Public Library will start back on September 13 at 1 p.m. in the City Annex Building behind the Library. Their first fall program will begin with an auction. Everyone that wants to participate in the auction needs to bring an item to be auctioned off, and their loose change so as to bid on other items that are available. Barbara Burk will be the auctioneer again this year. Yearly dues are five dollars. Whether you want to participate in the auction or you want to become a member of the Friends then please come and join them on the 13th. Also on the 13th, Matt and Lydia Randolph will be having puppets during Story Time at 10 a.m. Thanks to Becky Smith for doing Story Time last week. Lastly, on Wednesday, September 13th, the board will have a called board meeting at 4:30 p.m. Chess Night continues every Monday night 5-7 p.m. with Maalac Steele.
