Reva Taylor

Reva Taylor, 71, of Hazel Green, AL, died Thursday, August 24, 2006, at her residence.

Funeral services were held Saturday, August 26, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home. Burial was in the New Sharon Cemetery with Gallant Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Taylor was a native of Lincoln County, TN. She was the daughter of the late Herbert and Edna Mooneyham Cothren. Mrs. Taylor was a gas station clerk at the Wavaho station in Hazel Green, AL, and a member of Stateline Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Janice Bates of Duluth, GA, Shelia Gurley of Woodville, AL, Mozell Painter of Duluth, GA; one son, James A. Taylor of Hazel Green, AL; one sister, Clida Miller of Hazel Green, AL; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.


Bertha Mae Mosley

Bertha Mae Mosley, 71, of Ardmore, TN, died Saturday, September 9, 2006, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 12, at 11 a.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home Chapel in Pulaski. Burial was in the Giles Memory Gardens with Carr & Erwin Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Mosley was born July 1, 1935 in Minor Hill, TN. She was the daughter of the late Ezra and Dimple Thompson and retired from Metro Davidson County School System.

Survivors include her husband, James Doyce Mosley of Ardmore, TN; three sons, James Ronald Mosley and wife Senna of Lavergne, TN, Jerry Donald Mosley and wife Teresa of Elkton, TN, and Larry Thomas Mosley and wife Charlene of Elkton, TN; 10 grandchildren, Lee, Jerry and Brien Mosley, Tiffany Bitting, Tyler, Jamie, Jenae, Taylor and William Mosley, and Eric Weatherford; four great-grandchildren, Brandon and Rowan Mosley, and Emma and Wyatt Bitting; one brother, Leonard Thompson of Pulaski; and two sisters, Betty Kilpatrick of Pulaski, and Joyce Boyd of Nashville, TN.
