Warriors Too Much For Falcons A tenacious Riverdale Warrior defense made life difficult Friday night for the Lincoln County Falcons as they headed back to Murfreesboro with a 39-7 win. Jeremy Ramsey, who suffered from a dislocated jaw in last week’s Falcons win over Warren County, scored the lone Falcon touchdown on 3-yard run in the third quarter. R. J. Sandmeyer provided the extra point. The Warriors scored the first 17 points. In the opening quarter Alex Fraley kicked a 36-yard field goal before Scott Thomas scored on a 1-yard carry with Fraley kicking the extra point. In the second quarter the Warriors got a safety on an intentional grounding call in the end zone on the Falcons. The other six-points that period came from Chad Hunter on a 1-yard carry. Jeremy McClain raced 95-yards for a touchdown following Ramsey’s six-pointer. Fraley provided the extra point. While in the fourth quarter McCain scored on an 18-yard and Marty Newsom on an 80-yard run. Lincoln County travels to Winchester Friday to face the Rebels of Franklin County.
