Local gospel group, The Harmony Boys, will present their final concert Sunday evening, October 1, at the Piney Grove Baptist Church in Ardmore. The original members of the group began singing gospel music in 1963 and recently announced their retirement.

Singing will begin at 6:30 p.m. Sunday with The Faithful Four and the Shannon Sisters. The Harmony Boys will begin their concert around 7:10 p.m.

The five original members of the group are Edward Emerson, Ed Wales, Howard Wales Jr., Thomas Wales and Curtis Mitchell. They began performing together while they were still in high school.
