Cedar Hill Elementary Plans Parents Workshop
The Cedar Hill Elementary faculty will be presenting a workshop for parents following the October 5th PTO meeting. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. in the school cafeteria. The topic will be “Understanding dynamic intervention of basic early literacy skills” (DIBELS). This is a state mandated assessment for all kindergarten through fifth grade students. DIBELS measures critical foundations for reading.

Band Annual Chicken Stew October 5 & 6
The Ardmore High School Band will have their annual Homecoming Chicken Stew Thursday and Friday, October 5 and 6. The popular stew will be available beginning at 3 p.m. both days in the school lunchroom.

Ardmore Homecoming Is Friday Night
Ardmore High School is observing Homecoming this week. Activities will kick off with a Homecoming Parade Thursday, October 5 at 4:00 p.m.

Tigers Spoil Wildcat Homecoming
Ardmore High School’s Varsity Football Team made the trek west last Friday night to take on county rival West Limestone. The Wildcats were especially fired up for the game, considering it was the team’s Homecoming contest.

AHS To Celebrate Homecoming
It’s, fun and excitement all week at Ardmore High School where Homecoming Week will be celebrated Monday, October 2, through Friday, October 6, culminating with the crowning of the Homecoming Queen during halftime at the Ardmore versus Madison County football game. The football game will kickoff at 7 p.m. at Cooper Field.

Blanche Lady Bulldogs Win Lincoln County Volleyball Tournament
The Blanche Lady Bulldogs volleyball team was crowned the Lincoln County tournament champions this weekend, capping off a perfect season. The Lady Bulldogs were at their best this past weekend as they entered the tournament as the number one seed.
