AHS To Celebrate Homecoming

It’s, fun and excitement all week at Ardmore High School where Homecoming Week will be celebrated Monday, October 2, through Friday, October 6, culminating with the crowning of the Homecoming Queen during halftime at the Ardmore versus Madison County football game. The football game will kickoff at 7 p.m. at Cooper Field.

Students will celebrate Homecoming by dressing up each day of the week with a different theme. Monday, Senior Dress up Day - Tuesday, Tacky Decade Day - Wednesday, Super Hero or Hawaiian Day - Thursday, Favorite College or Camouflage Day - Friday is Black and Gold Decorate Your Car Day.

The Ardmore High School Band will be offering their annual Chicken Stew fundraiser selling stew and baked goods Thursday and Friday beginning at 3 pm in the high school lunchroom. The stew will be offered on a first come first served basis.

There will be a limited supply of 240 quarts per day. Carry out only, containers will be provided. The chicken stew will be $3.50 per quart, and proceeds go to the Ardmore High School Band.
