Miss Shannon Fogg Is
‘06 Homecoming Queen

Ardmore’s 2005 Homecoming Queen Laura Shaw was on hand Friday evening to crown 2006 Homecoming Queen Shannon Fogg during a victorious win for the Ardmore Tiger football team.

Representatives chosen from the twelfth grade include Homecoming Queen Shannon Fogg and her court, Kristin Blackwell, Ashley Nave, Catherine Taylor and Amber Wise.

Shannon Fogg is the daughter of Tim and Angie Fogg. She has attended Ardmore since Kindergarten. Serving as senior class president and Miss AHS, Shannon was voted “prettiest smile” by her classmates. A member of the yearbook staff, she also serves on the First National Bank Advisory Board and Who’s Who Among High School Students. She is a member of the varsity basketball and softball teams, Math Club, Beta Club, Junior Civitan, Spanish Club, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Shannon was the 2006 Alabama Girls’ State Representative.

Kristin Blackwell is the daughter of Lane Blackwell and Ginger Blackwell. She has attended Ardmore since Kindergarten. Kristin has been a cheerleader for five years and currently serves as captain of the squad.

Selected as a UCA All Star and Who’s Who Among American High School Students, Kristin is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Senior Beta, Junior Civitan, Spanish Club, Math Club and FCCLA.

Ashley Nave is the daughter of Joey and Stephanie Nave. She has attended Ardmore since the seventh grade. Ashley is the co-captain of the varsity cheerleading squad and was chosen as a UCA All Star. Selected Who’s Who Among High School Students, Ashley is a member of Junior Civitan, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Spanish Club, FCCLA and HOSA.

Catherine Taylor is the daughter of Tim and Cathy Smith and the late Mike David Taylor. She has attended Ardmore since Kindergarten. A member of Senior Beta, Spanish Club, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Catherine is a varsity cheerleader and a member of the First National Bank Advisory Board. She was chosen Miss Merry Christmas by the senior class.

Amber Wise is the daughter of Joel and Pat Wise. She was voted senior class beauty, class favorite and class secretary. She’s a member of the varsity softball team, First National Bank Advisory Board, Math Club, Beta Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Spanish Club. Amber is a member of Who’s Who Among American High School Students, National Society of High School Scholars, and National Honor Roll.

The flower girl and crown bearer for 2006 are Miss Abby Holland and Master Hayden Stanford. Abby Holland is the daughter of Bradley and Ronda Holland.

Hayden Stanford is the son of Chad and Renee’ Stanford. Abby and Hayden are first graders at Cedar Hill Elementary.

Junior class representatives are Kayla Sexton and Emily Taylor.

Kayla Sexton is the daughter of Rodney and Chante’ Sexton. She was voted Class Beauty, Class Favorite and Secretary of the junior class. She is a member of the prom committee, Spanish Club and FCCLA.

Emily Taylor is the daughter of Keith and Jennifer Taylor. She has attended Ardmore for the past eight years. A percussionist in both the marching and concert bands, Emily is a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Club, Beta Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and also serves as secretary of the Math Club.

Sophomore class representatives are Aarika Boggs and Krystal Thornton.

Aarika is the daughter of Wade and Crystal Boggs. She has attended Ardmore since kindergarten. She plays for the varsity basketball and softball teams. She’s also a member of the Senior Beta Club, Math Club, Spanish Club, Junior Civitan, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and FFA. Aarika was selected Who’s Who Among American High School Students.

Krystal Thornton is the daughter of Bryan and Kathy Thornton. She has attended Ardmore since the seventh grade. She was chosen sophomore class favorite and is a varsity cheerleader. Krystal is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, FFA, Chess Club, Spanish Club and Junior Civitan.

Representing the freshman class are Bailey Brooks and Gina Hobbs.

Bailey Brooks is the daughter of Jeff and Ginger Brooks. She has attended Ardmore since kindergarten. Bailey has been a JV cheerleader for the past three years and currently serves as the captain. Bailey is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Spanish Club and FCCLA.

Gina Hobbs is the daughter of Brad and Dana Hobbs. She has attended Ardmore since the 6th grade. A member of the junior volleyball team for the past three years, Gina is also a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and FCCLA.
