William M. Beene William M. Beene, 85, of Alabama Hwy. 251, Athens, AL, died Tuesday, October 17, 2006, at his residence. Graveside services were held Thursday, October 19, at 1:00 p.m. at the Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore with Bro. Bobby Hudson officiating. Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. William M. Beene was born October 12 1921 in Stevenson, AL, to William Rich “W.R.” and Alice Beene. He was a member of the Wooley Springs Church of Christ. Mr. Beene was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Beene. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. Kandie Bue Brown Kandie Bue Brown, 41, of Franklin, TN, formerly of Elkton, died Friday, October 20, 2006, in Franklin, TN. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 25, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home in Pulaski. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 26, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Rev. William Suddarth officiating. Burial will be in the Elkton Cemetery in Elkton, TN with Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home in charge. Kandie Bue Brown was a member of the Elkton Baptist Church and a 1983 graduate of Giles County High School. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Thomas (Dick) Bue. Survivors include her children, Erika and Adam Brown of Franklin, TN; her mother, Donna Bue of Pulaski; sisters, Debbie Crabtree and husband Bobby of Pulaski, Lorrie Smith and husband Finnis of Elkton; brothers, Ricky Bue and wife Kathy of Elkton, Bobby Bue and wife Jackie of Pulaski, and Rocky Bue of Lynnville. Memorial donations may be made to the Erika and Adam Brown Fund at First National Bank in Pulaski. James “Jimmy” Lynn James “Jimmy” Lynn, 61, of Ardmore Highway, Ardmore, TN, died Wednesday, October 18, 2006, at Hillside Hospital, Pulaski, TN. Funeral services were held Saturday, October 21, at 2 p.m. in the Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home with Senior Elder Wendell Curry officiating. Burial was in the Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore with Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home in charge. James “Jimmy” Lynn was born December 31, 1944 in Nashville, TN, to James Alvie Lynn and Eva Kathleen Whitaker Lynn. He lived in this area 17 years. He was a member of the Stateline 7th Day Adventist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother and an infant sister, Wanda Gail Lynn. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Lynn of Ardmore, TN; his father, James A. Lynn of Dickson, TN; son, Andy Lynn of Chicago, IL; daughter, Tammy Dunham of Goodlettsville, TN; step-sons, Jeff Sine of Nashville, TN, James Sine of Elkmont, AL, and John Sine of Kingston Springs, TN; step-daughter, Julie Wessler of Elkmont, AL; sisters, Margie Pedigo of Pegram, TN, Reba Pearson of Chattanooga, TN, Wilma Shelton of Southgate, MI, Rita Lynn-Mejia of Falls Church, VA, and Judy Hill of Centerville, TN; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jerry Shelton, Gene Pearson, Mike Hill, Darrell Brooks, Jordan Harris and Will Hill. Honorary pallbearers were Hansford Pedigo and Austin Pike. John Mason Mallick John Mason Mallick, 79, of Razz Way Circle, Toney, AL, died Saturday, October 21, 2006, at Huntsville Hospital. Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 24, at 11 a.m. at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Carol Simon and Aaron Leatherbarrow officiating. Burial was in the Malone Cemetery in Ardmore, TN, with Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home in charge. John Mason Mallick was born August 12, 1927 to John Anderson Mallick and Margaret Rhadene Payne Mallick. He was a member of the Valley Fellowship in Huntsville, AL. He was one of the original Navy Seals or “Frog Men” serving in World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Dolores Mallick. Survivors include daughters, Susan Wiley of Ardmore, TN, Cindy Leatherbarrow of Jacksonville, FL, and Jennie Molinaro of Lakeland, FL; one brother, Ralph Scott Mallick of Tucson, AZ; sisters, Kathleen Hoppes of Springfield, OH, Joan Williams of Rock Hill, SC, Sharon Lemmerman of Indiana and Boots Diapablo of Los Angeles, CA; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Sons-in-law and grandsons served as pallbearers. |
