The 29th annual Arts & Craft Show will be held Friday, November 10, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, November 11, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 124 Cloverleaf Dr., Athens. A Christmas beauty pageant will be held Saturday, November 11 at 3:00 in Minor Hill, TN at the Minor Hill Community Building to raise money for the Minor Hill City Christmas Parade Committee. Entry forms and money are being collected now, with the absolute deadline on November 1st. Entry forms can be picked up at WLX radio station in Lawrenceburg, The Outlook in Pulaski, and at Minor Hill City Hall; or an entry form can be mailed to you.  The Alabama Veterans Museum & Archives in Athens will host an “Attic Treasures Auction & Bean Buffet Monday, November 13, at 5:30 p.m. in the Athens Senior Center. Tickets are $10 each and may be purchased at the Veterans Museum or the Athens Senior Center. This event is a fundraiser for the Alabama Veterans Museum & Archives.
