Library Fundraiser Slated November 2 Keith Dunnavant, author of several books about college football, including “The Missing Ring: How Bear Bryant and the 1966 Alabama Crimson Tide Were Denied College Football’s Most Elusive Prize,” will be speaking at the Athens-Limestone Public Library at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, November 2nd. This will be a fundraiser for the Athens-Limestone Public Library Foundation. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served, and books will be available for purchase and autographing. Tickets are $30 each and are on sale at the Library, Pablo’s, and the Athens State Library. |
