The Elkton Lady Elks played well according to Coach Tammy Ogea in their outing against Liberty in the Cornersville Basketball Tournament.

The Lady Elks lost to Liberty by a score of 28 to 14.

The Lady Elks struggled with rebounding and were cold shooting from the floor.

“Some of our returning players stepped up and showed a lot of maturity handling the ball,” Coach Ogea said following the game. “We have a lot of positives to build on,” the coach added.

The Lady Elks’ high scorer was Markeyta Bledsoe.
