THANK YOU: To the local merchants and the organizers for the money given in memory of Glen (Turk) Magnuson and Frances Carter. The donation will be used to purchase memorial books to honor these two outstanding merchants of Ardmore. The community will miss them greatly.

LIBRARY SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: Current library hours are Monday through Friday 9am until 6pm while closing 12pm until 12:30pm for lunch and Saturday 9am until 1:30pm.

Wednesday Mornings (10am)-November’s Story Time Schedule for area children is 8th Jim Neelon with “Buzz goes the Bee,” 15th Becky Smith with “Veterans and Other Heroes,” 22nd Mary Woods with “A Gathering of Friends,” and 29th Jan Mitchell with “Goldilocks and the Three Bears.”
In November, children that attend the library who read five or more books will receive a bookmark for a small pizza from Pizza Inn.
November 8 (1am)-Friends of the Library will be having their monthly meeting and will immediately afterwards have their annual “Cookie Swap.” Anyone interested in attending the meeting/cookie swap should bring two dozen cookies from their favorite recipe to share with the other ladies attending the meeting. One dozen is for eating at the meeting, and the second dozen is for swapping for sharing with your family later.
There will not be a Friends’ December meeting.
On November 22, Blue Grass Regional Library’s cassette tapes and disks will be back on the shelves.
