Robert Allen Gray, 89, longtime writer of the Liberty News column in YOUR COMMUNITY SHOPPER, died Saturday, November 11, at the Lincoln Skill Care Center in Fayetteville, TN.
Gray, a native of Lincoln County, TN, was the son of the late William Riley and Oma Myrtle Locker Gray. He was born January 5, 1917.
A retired LPN, Mr. Gray was a Liberty News columnist for over 40 years for YOUR COMMUNITY SHOPPER, the Elk Valley Times and Observer.
He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution and the Liberty Church of Christ.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 14, at 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Cole, Bro. Doyle Wright and Bro. Ben Rutledge officiating.
Burial was in the Stewarts Cemetery.
Survivors include four nieces and two nephews.
