Lady Elks Drop Two
The Lady Elks dropped a pair of games to Richland and Cornersville last week in middle school basketball action. Elkton lost to Cornersville 33-8 on Monday and to Richland on Thursday 25-11.

Limited to just three first half points the Lady Elks of Elkton dropped a 25-11 decision to the Lady Raiders at Richland last Thursday.
Haley Woods, who hit the game’s only three-pointer, led Elkton with five points. Ashley Kelly scored four and Roxi Edmondson two for Elkton.
Kimberly Lovell, the only player to score in each quarter, led the Lady Raiders with 15.

Turnovers hurt the Lady Elks chances as Elkton dropped their season opener to Cornersville 33-8.
Scoring for the Lady Elks were Haley Woods and Markeyta Bledsoe with four points each.
The winners scored the first 14 points of the contest. Nine players scored for Cornersville.
