Grandparents are Sam and Annette Reyer of Ardmore, and Ray and Ellen Donaldson of Auburn. Great-grandparents are the late Arch and Bessie Davis, the late Daniel and Elizabeth Reyer, Madge Donaldson and the late M.W. Donaldson of Auburn, and the late Ralph and Nell Avant of Opp, Alabama. He has two brothers, Andrew and Davis.
