The marriage of Laken Lea Claunch and Daniel Lee Bryant took place July 8, 2006, at 2 p.m. at the Wooley Springs Baptist Church in Toney with Bro. Bill Chester officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Charles and Karen Claunch of Ardmore, AL, and the groom is the son of Robert and Rose Bryant of Ardmore, AL.
The bride is the granddaughter of Clenon and Dorothy Lyles of Athens and Mary Kellum and the late Allen Kellum and Thomas Claunch. The groom is the grandson of Essie Bryant and the late Pete Bryant of Huntsville and the late Christine Phifer of Ardmore. He is the nephew of Jimmy and Linda Jenkins of Toney.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a beaded strapless wedding gown outlined with lace. The skirt featured a long beaded train outlined in lace.
Brittney Robertson served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jordi Claunch, Heather Murphy, and Crystal Kelley. Flower girls were Alexis James and Summer Brister. Ring bearer was Jeremiah Byers.
