Food Bank Announces Distribution Dates
The Christians Helping Others (CHO) Food Bank has announced food distribution dates for December and January.


Candlelight Service Thursday Evening
The annual Candlelight Service of Remembrance will be held Thursday, December 7, at 7 p.m. at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home. Everyone is invited to attend this special service. The event will be held in the Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, located at 27186 East Main Street, Ardmore, AL.


Parades Kick-Off Holiday Season
As the holiday shopping season begins, Christmas parades throughout the area help to get shoppers into the spirit. Parades have been scheduled in Elkton, Ardmore, Pulaski, Fayetteville and Athens.


Bethlehem Walk at Mable Hill Baptist
The congregation of Mable Hill Baptist Church on Ready Section Road in Ardmore invites you to their 7th Annual Bethlehem Walk to be held on two weekends Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, December 1, 2 and 3, and December 8, 9 and 10, from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. nightly.


First American Bank Names New Ardmore Commercial Lender
Jeff Hodges, Limestone County CEO of First American Bank, recently announced a new Commercial Lender, David Savoie, in the Ardmore office.



Lady Tigers Stop Devils
The Ardmore Lady Tigers stopped Elkmont 53-52 Saturday in the late consolation game in the 13th Annual Lions Club Thanksgiving Classic. The winners trailed nine points in the fourth quarter and rallied for the win. On Friday, Ardmore dropped a 60-34 decision.


Tiger B-team Wins
The Ardmore B-team used a balanced scoring attack and big unanswered scoring run in the second quarter to defeat West Limestone 31-24 on Tuesday in the Ardmore gym.


Ardmore Tigers Capture Top Prize
The Ardmore Tigers defeated West Limestone 58-47 late Saturday night to capture first place in the 13th Annual Lions Club Thanksgiving Classic. The Tigers knocked off Cornersville, Haleyville and West Limestone to win the top prize among six teams.


Junior Girls Shut Down West In Second Half
The Ardmore Junior girls did not give up a point in the second half in their 31-15 win over visiting West Limestone last Monday.
