Junior Girls Shut Down
West In Second Half

The Ardmore Junior girls did not give up a point in the second half in their 31-15 win over visiting West Limestone last Monday.

Leading 16-15 at the half the Lady Tigers scored 11 third quarter points and four in the fourth on the way to the win.

Emily Faulkner led the winners with 15 points as Callie Steadman added seven.

The visitors led 3-2 after a free throw and a field goal from Hannah Dildine. The Lady Tigers scored the next 12 points.

Kelsey Gilbert hit a pair of free throws in the second quarter for Ardmore after West scored four unanswered points. The Lady Wildcats scored the next six points before Faulkner hit a pair of free throws for the winners.

Brittany Brown scored four points for the winners as Elizabeth Hodges scored three and Callie Bryant, Nikki Clark, Ashley Miles and Gilbert each scored two.

Briana Looney had four points for West Limestone as Breana Dean and Dakota Woods each scored two.

The Junior girls will face Tanner at home on Thursday and Athens Bible School on Monday.
