Edward “Jake” Dugger, II Joseph Edward “Jake” Dugger, II, 60, of Merrell Road, Ardmore, TN, died Monday, December 11, 2006, at his residence. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 13, from 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services will be Thursday, December 14, at 1 p.m. at Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore with Allen Stafford officiating. Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. “Jake” was born December 23, 1945 in Athens, AL, to Joseph Edward Dugger and Lorene Watkins Dugger (later Chapman). Jake lived in Ardmore since the age of 18. He attended Columbia Military Academy in Columbia, TN and was an avid Harley Davidson rider. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Bojo Dugger; and a sister, Betty Dugger. Survivors include one brother, Ronnie (Kathy) Dugger of Fredricksburg, VA; one sister, Barbara (Ronnie) Sanders of Ardmore, TN; nephews, Butch (Stephanie) Sanders, Timothy (Carrie) Sanders, Jason (Jessica) Dugger, and Chris Dugger; two great-nephews and one great-niece. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be all of his friends. Joyce V. Holley Joyce V. Holley, 72, of Pulaski, died Sunday, December 3, 2006, at her residence. Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 6, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Dr. Doug Plumlee officiating. Burial was in the Maplewood Cemetery with Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Holley was born January 11, 1934, in Antlers, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kermit and Ruby Eddings Tompkins; and a brother, Charles Tompkins. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Jerry Holley of Pulaski; daughter, Wanda Wolaver (Edward A.) Martin of Old Hickory, TN; daughters, Shawn Holley and Tina Holley of Pulaski; six grandchildren of Pulaski; two step-grandchildren of Nashville, TN; two great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Wilma (Jay) Schmitt of Peoria, IL, and Ruby Jo Pitts of Oklahoma City, OK; brothers, Perry (Margie) Tompkins of Antlers, OK, and Wick McDade of Oklahoma City, OK. Nancy Louise Fry King Nancy Louise Fry King, 67, of Pulaski, died Tuesday, December 5, 2006. Funeral services were held Thursday, December 7 at 11:30 in the Carr-Erwin Chapel with Brandon Britton and Corey Barnett officiating. Burial was in the Giles Memory Gardens with Carr-Erwin Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. King was a member of the Fairview Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, Billy of Pulaski; sons, Billy Wayne King of Pulaski and Glen King of Minor Hill; brothers, Thomas Fry of Lynnville and Charles Fry of Kedron; sister, Pauline Dunnivant of Pulaski; grandchildren, Chanel King of Clarksville, and Jessica and Megan King of Minor Hill. Annie Ruby Cowen Annie Ruby Cowen, 91, died Monday, December 4, 2006, at Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Pulaski. Funeral services were Thursday, December 7, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Bro. Glen Keenon and Bro. Leslie Bagsby officiating. Burial was in the Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville, AL, with Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home in charge. Miss Cowen was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie H. and Florence Schrimsher Cowen; two sisters, Lorene Bolden and Florence Cleveland. Survivors include brother, Charlie (Eloise) Cowen of Stella; nieces, Suzanne Long of Pulaski and Alice Patterson of Huntsville; nephews, Daniel Cowen of Pulaski, David Cowen of Lake City, FL, and Donald Cleveland of Huntsville, AL. John Ed McNairy, Jr. John Ed McNairy, Jr., 45, formerly of Pulaski, died Sunday, December, 3, 2006, at his residence in Rockford, IL. Burial was in the Maplewood Cemetery with Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home in charge. He was preceded in death by his father, John Ed McNairy, Sr. and a sister, Melissa McNairy.
