Jr. Lady Tigers Get Win

The Ardmore Junior Lady Tigers had to withstand a big fourth quarter by the Athens Bible School Lady Trojans last Tuesday night to get a 32-26 win.

Leading 27-11 the Lady Trojans produced 15 fourth quarter points to make the game interesting.

Scoring the first 15 points the winners limited the Lady Trojans to a single two-pointer in the opening period. By the half Ardmore led 23-7.

Brittany Brown scored all four Ardmore points in the fourth quarter. The Lady Trojans matched the total number of points with Athena Hinkle hitting a field goal as Cynthia Steelman and Natalie Anderson each hit a free throw.

The Lady Trojans limited the Lady Tigers to a field goal from Callie Steadman and one free throw each from Emily Faulkner, Brown and Sara Wales.

Hinkle scored seven of her game high 17 points for Athens Bible School.

Brown led the winners with a dozen points as Faulkner scored seven and Elizabeth Hodges six. Steadman and Nikki Clark scored two points each for Ardmore as Kelsey Gilbert and Wales each scored one.

Hinkle had scoring help from Steelman and Stefanie McClure with three points each while Amelia Harwell scored two and Anderson 1.
