The Oak Grove Homemakers Club met Wednesday December 13, 2006 at the home of Cora Patterson for their Christmas Luncheon with all 10 members present. President Jeanette Davis called the meeting to order with the thought “If you give a gift never remember it…. If you receive one never forget it.” Hazel Ruf and Joyce Shawn read Christmas poems. Mrs. Ruf concluded by leading the group in a carol. Gifts were exchanged, and a bountiful lunch was enjoyed by the ladies, who were joined by the husbands Nick Patterson, Kenneth Jacobs, and Louis Sammet. After a period of fellowship we dismissed to meet the third Wednesday, January 17, 9:30 a.m. at the home of Jeanette Davis. Visitors and new members are welcome.
