Elkton Baptist Plans Dedication Ceremony For New Sanctuary

The congregation of Elkton Baptist Church will hold a Dedication Service for the new church sanctuary Sunday, January 22, at 1:30 p.m.

Regular morning services will be held with Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. and a “Homecoming” message at 10:30 a.m. brought by Bro. Sammy Brister. Lunch will be served in the Fellowship Hall after the morning services.

The Dedication of the new building will begin at 1:30 p.m. This service will include testimonies and music.

Elkton Baptist Church was first established in 1894 and in 1947 the existing building was constructed. Since that time, the church has witnessed several building and renovation programs. In 1991 a new fellowship hall and additional classrooms were built and then in 1997 a library was added. Ground was broken on March 7, 2010, for the new sanctuary and the first service was held in the sanctuary on December 18, 2011.

All fellow churches, members, former members, friends and the community are invited to attend the dedication service for the newly constructed sanctuary and worship with the congregation on this special occasion.

Elkton Baptist Church is located at 494 Market St. Elkton, TN. Pastor  is Bro. Sammy Bristor and the Associate Pastor is Bro. B. J. Shelton.
