FNB Announces Promotions At 70th Annual Shareholder Meeting First Pulaski National Corporation held its 70th annual shareholder meeting on April 24 and reported an encouraging and uplifting year of progress for First National Bank. “The success of First National Bank has allowed us to expand into the North Alabama area early in 2008 with our Huntsville office and the opening just this past week in Athens,” commented Mark Hayes, President and CEO. “First National Bank is rapidly growing and the number of customers we have the opportunity to serve is increasing each day,” continued Hayes, “and as a result of this growth our team is also growing. It is with great pride that we recognize the significant contributions made by these individuals and announce their new promotions.” Don Haney was named President and Chief Operating Officer of FNB and President of FPNC. Lyman Cox, was named Executive Vice President and Sr. Loan Officer. In addition Lyman will continue to be directly responsible for the Fayetteville and Park City offices. Milton Nesbitt is now Executive Vice President and Sr. Credit Officer. Rebecca Graves is Sr. Vice President and Deposit Administrator. Patrick Gilbert is Sr. Vice President and Giles County Executive, responsible for the Main Office, Minor Hill Road, Industrial Park and the Lynnville Offices of FNB. Larry Lance is Sr. Vice President and Marshall County Executive being responsible for the Lewisburg and Belfast Offices. Jai Eason is the Sr. Vice President and Madison County Executive for the Huntsville Office. Jeff Hodges and Steve Smith have each been promoted to Sr. Vice President and Limestone County Executives for the Athens and Ardmore Offices. Much of the Shareholder meeting was devoted to the retirement of James T. Cox as Chairman of the Board for First Pulaski National Corporation. Mr. Cox enjoyed having his entire family in attendance and was honored for his devotion to the Bank with a standing ovation from the entire audience, as well as the presentation of the traditional FNB watch. Jimmy Cox will continue to provide leadership and influence for the organization in his role as the Sr. Executive Officer and will remain an integral part of the team. With the retirement of Jimmy Cox as Chairman of the Board, Mark Hayes will move to that position, remaining as Chief Executive Officer as well as Chairman. Mark began his employment with First National in 1991 working with Commercial Lending and has been involved in the strategy and growth of First National from the start. He was named as an Executive Officer in 1999 and has held the reigns as President since 2001. Mr. Cox said, “As I move into a different role at First National Bank, I am pleased to leave Mark Hayes, a man of quality and integrity to run the day to day operations of the Bank. Mark does an incredible job and always has the best interest of shareholders in mind.” |
