Arthur George Ead, 76, of Blanche, TN, died Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at his residence.

The family will receive friends Thursday, July 29, from 6-8 p.m. at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home.

Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, July 30, at 10 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Prospect, TN with Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in charge.

Arthur was born March 5, 1934, in Somerville, Massachusetts. He was the son of the late Joseph Ead and the late Lillian Alexander Ead. He had lived in this area for the past 39 years, coming from Boston, MA. A U.S. Army veteran, he was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Robert Joseph Ead; and a sister, Glady Bilderback.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene Phillips Ead of Blanche, TN; sons, Daniel Paul (Karen) Ead of Orlando, FL, Buddy John (Linda) Ead of Pepperelle, AM and Douglas Peter (Cindy) Ead of Prospect, TN; daughter, Sharon Rose Ead (Francis) Muise of Chino Hills, CA; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Clarence B. Jones, 63, of Taft, TN, died Sunday, July 25, 2010, at Huntsville Hospital, Huntsville, AL.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 28, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Bro. Sonny Moore officiating. Burial will be in the Lincoln Cemetery with Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home in charge.

A native of Lincoln County, TN, he was the son of the late Buford Jones and Edna Jane Holder Jones who survives. He was an owner/operator truck driver. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry and Lawrence Jones.

Survivors include his son, Kevin Jones of Fayetteville, TN; his mother, Edna Jones of Fayetteville, TN; a sister, Carolyn (Ray)Bryant of Fayetteville, TN; special friend, Inez Anderson of Taft, TN; two grandchildren, James Anthony Anderson, Jr. and Keila Anderson.

Jeanette Sylvia Gilbert, 81, of Ardmore, AL, died Saturday, July 24, 2010, at Athens-Limestone Hospital.

She was born May 1, 1929, in Huntsville, AL, the second of 10 children.

Survivors include two children, David (Pat) Berryhill of Ardmore, and Donna (Bobby) Tomes of Chicago, IL; two grandchildren, Stephen (Lisa) Berryhill of New Port Richey, FL, and Cheryl (Mike) Lowe of Elkmont, AL; four great-grandchildren, Brook (Clint) Dugger of Elkmont, AL, Dustin (Amber) Reece of Athens, AL, Baylee and Emma Berryhill of New Port Richey, FL; three great-great-grandchildren, Colton Dugger, Dylan and Wyatt Reece; six sisters and one brother.

Memorial donations may be made to the Athens Convalescent Center in her name to aid in the care of the many friends she made during her stay there.
